He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Onnel Clark and Rosa Belle Bentley Clark; and his daughter Holly Mills. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Christine Poteat Clark; his sisters, Rilda C. Pierce of Lenoir and Carolyn "Tilda" Brown of Sawmills; his daughter Donna Kay Snider of Granite Falls; and his adoptive sons, Jason Starnes (Kathryn) of Granite Falls and Daniel Parks of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
