He is survived by: his wife Karan Kirby; his children, Shannon Kirby Herman of Hudson and Jason Kirby of Lenoir; his stepdaughter Shaleigh Scott; his sister Barbara Haigler; his nephew Randall; his sister Donna Faye Joplin; his siblings-in-law, Larry and Martha Jane Kirby; his nephew Tim Kirby; and his niece Donna Lynne Kirby.
