He is survived by: his siblings, Norma Rhyder Starnes of Granite Falls and Thomas Rider of Redondo Beach; his children, Scott Rhyder (Terri) of Valdese, Dusty Powell (Amy) of Collettsville, Paula Rena Woody (Jason) of Dysartsville, Holly Rhyder of Valdese and Charlotte Geter (Travis) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Jailen Geter, Carla Fowler, Ethan Woody, Monica Plowden, Chris Rhyder, Matt Rhyder and Emily Dodson; his great grandchildren, Solei, Josh, Seth, Eli, Lily, Gabe, Anzlee and Remi; and his girlfriend Janet Walker of Gamewell, NC..
