He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tallie Junior Smith and Estie Loretta Coffey Smith; his wife Effie Coffey Smith; his children, Dustin Smith of Massachusetts, Chasity Smith (Joe Loggins) of Hudson and Amy Smith Brown of South Carolina; and his siblings, Jerry Smith of Lenoir, Regina Childress of Louisiana and Sharon Clonch (Robert) of Lenoir.
