She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jack D. Bateson of Bloomdale and Barbara J. Etzinger; her sisters, Patricia D. Lanning and Rebecca; her husband Paul D. Wasson; her children, Julie Brewster (Joshua) of Hickory and Jason "Gus" Wasson (Amy) of Granite Falls; her brothers, David Bateson (Beth) of Bloomdale and Steve Bateson (Jeanette) of Wayne, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Logan Brewster and Hannah Wasson.
