With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Mae Coffey of Granite Falls, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Ira Coffey; and her brothers, Gary Coffey and Donald Harmon. She is survived by: her significant other Sherry Diane Robbins; her daughters, Stacy Burgess (Chris) of Vale and Cheryl Gulda (Bill) of Granite Falls; her stepchildren, Jason Burchette (Mary) of Granite Falls and Chasity Shull (Johnnie) of Granite Falls; her siblings, Dale Coffey of Granite Falls and Sarah Baker (Mike) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Aidan Burgess, Kaylee Burgess, Jaxon Burgess, Skylar Gulda, Liam Gulda, Hailey Burchette, Rileigh Burchette, Dalton McCall, Logan Brown, Gracie Felver and Brooklyn Shull; her niece Chelsea Baker; her nephews, Willy Baker (Casey) and Wesley Coffey; and her great-niece Laney Baker.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC, 28645.
