He was predeceased by: his father John Hugh Tyrone, Sr.; and his son Brian James Tyrone. He is survived by: his close friend Betty Bridges; his brothers, James Tyrone (Mary Ann) of West Memphis, AR and David Tyrone (Linda) of Shreveport, LA; his children, John H. Tyrone, III (Dee Decker) of Lee Summit, MO and Allison Hill (Stephen) of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Samantha Hefner (David) of Hudson, Christian Tyrone of Conover, John Hugh Tyrone, IV (Julia) of Peoria, IL and Amanda Hopper (Jake) of Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Hefner of Hudson and Logan Hefner of Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Christian Fellowship Chapel, 99 N. Main Street, Granite Falls, NC 28630.
