He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Teague and Katherine Richards Teague; and his sister Nancy Ann Teague. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Messer Teague; his children, Joe Franklin Teague, Jr., Amy Braswell (Eric) of Granite Falls and Susan Clontz of Newton; his siblings, Kenneth Teague (Barbara) of Granite Falls, Mary Bowman (Talmage) of Bethlehem and Janie Crompton (Richard) of Manassas, VA; his grandchildren, Jacey Braswell, Trilla Teague, Tattie Teague, Titus Teague, Tyre Teague, Natalie Livingston (Matt) and Amber Watson (David); and his great grandchildren, Hadleigh Livingston, Macy, Maya and Zane Watson.
