With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Luther Helton of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Thomas and Ruth Smith Helton; and his siblings, Clyde Helton, Goldie Ward, Dorothy Duncan and Marlene Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Celina Flores Helton; and his siblings, Rev. Bennett D. Helton of Lenoir, Linda Clark of Hudson and Carolyn Joplin of Sawmills.
