He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Chester; his children, Cheryl Curtis (Kurt) of Lenoir and Patrick LeFevers (Tammy) of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, James Dalton Curtis, Zayden Chester, Scarlett Carnett, Amie Winkler (Nick), Austin LeFevers and Brittany Davis; and his sister Patricia Turner of Lenoir.
