It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Clanton of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kerley Clanton and Mary Broyhill Clanton (Mae); and his siblings, Richard, David Clanton, Frances Penley, JoAnn Broyhill, Mary Pearson and Patricia Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Earp Clanton; his son Jeremy Clanton (Caryn) of Hickory, NC; his grandson Ethan Clanton of Granite Falls, NC; and his siblings, Robert Clanton (Patsy) of Moravian Falls, NC, Nancy Clement (Kyle) of Lenoir, NC and Sonja Walker of Granite Falls, NC..
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Hills Cemetery (100 Pinewood Rd, Granite Falls, NC 28630).
