It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Oglethorpe Bowman (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harold Bowman, Ira Bowman (Big Boy), Aaron Bowman and Faye Bowman McGee. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Randle King-Bowman; his brothers, Eddie Bowman (Stephanie) of Granite Falls and Terry Bowman (Teressia) of Granite Falls; his daughter-in-law Kathy Smith Suddreth; his grandsons, Mark Suddreth (Jamie) and Brett Suddreth; his great grandchild Harrison Suddreth of Greenville, SC; his stepsons, Todd King (Shana) and Scot King (Lisa); and his stepgranddaughters, Amelia, Macie, Tori and Abby King.
