He was predeceased by: his parent James "Frank" Reid; his daughter Rella Ann Reid; and his siblings, Tommy Reid and Pauline Eckard. He is survived by: his parent Nora Kirby Reid; his wife Patsy Ann Hall Reid; his daughter Reba Reid; his friend Eric of Hickory, NC; his son Logan Reid (Charlene Bowman) of Granite Falls, NC; his siblings, Jerry Reid of Granite Falls, NC, Dan Reid (Cora) of Hickory, NC, Jane Kirby and Juanita Hayes (John); and his grandchildren, John Shook, Harley Bearfield and Heather Saine. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren with another one on the way; also sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws with a number of nieces and nephews.
