He is survived by: his wife Rachel Barlow Church; his children, John Leroy Church (Ellen) of Lenoir, Jake Lewis Church (Lea) of Granite Falls, Darla Mayo Clarke (Rob Bolick) and Heidi Rose Elswick of Granite Falls; and his siblings, John Leroy Church of Lenoir, Ernest Randolph Church (Amelia) of Hudson, Annie Lee Huffman of Hickory, Margaret Church of Hickory and Tina Marie Church of Montana. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
