He was predeceased by: his father LaVern Calvin Goble; and his son Robert LaVern Goble. He is survived by: his son James Leonard Goble II; and his siblings, Terrell Curtis Goble (Brenda) of Lenoir and Pamila Goble Swanner of Conover. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchild; two nephews; two nieces, and one great niece.
