He was predeceased by: his parent Otis Clinton; his wife Vonda Presnell Brewer; his children, Debbie Baker and Bobby Brewer; and his sisters, Margie Brewer and Margaret Brewer.
He is survived by: his parent Irene Elmore Brewer; his children, Robert Brewer (Sherri) of Hickory, Jeff Brewer (Melissa) of West Jefferson, James Brewer of Hickory and Cathy McCaslin (David) of Hickory; his brother Terry Brewer of Hickory; and his close friend Dale Heroux.
