She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Midas Kirby and Minnie Pearl Satterwhite Kirby; her husband Glenn Harding Clay; and her siblings, Frank, Clark, Dale, Clay Kirby and Denzel Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Harding Clay (Malinda) of Granite Falls, NC, David Glenn Clay of Granite Falls, NC and Glenda Yount (Wade Jr.) of Granite Falls, NC; and her grandchildren, Todd Clay, Kim Clark (Jason), Bradley Clay (Misty), Jessica Farlee (Jeff), Amber McGhinnis (Jason) and Adam Yount (Robbin). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
