He is survived by: his wife Wilma Vernel Page Greer; his children, Wanda Hunter of Conover, Howard James Greer of Conover and Dale Ray Greer of Mountain View; his grandchildren, Jonathan Hunter, Adam Hunter, Anna Ammons, Dainy Greer, Casey Greer, Kayla Greer and Kyler Greer; and his great grandchildren, Landon Greer, Clay Ammons and Haley Hunter.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mackie Funeral Service (35 Duke St, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
