It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hester Marie Hamby of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Eva Worley Randall; and her husband Wade Shuford Hamby. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Hamby (Elaine) of Granite Falls and Pamela Jenkins (Ralph) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Kristy Craver (Michael) of Claremont, Kimberly Jenkins (Burt) of Leland, NC, Pamela Forbis (Braxton) of Hudson, Michael Bentley of Hickory and James Bentley of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Dalton Craver of Wilmington, Logan Jenkins of Leland, Gabriel Forbis of Hudson, Kenna Craver of Claremont, Allison Craver of Claremont and Peyton Jenkins of Leland; and her sister Grace Worley of Alexander, NC..
