It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Dianne Davis Stafford of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace J. Davis and Helen Setzer Davis; and her son Robert Christian Safford. She is survived by: her husband Bill Safford; her children, Julie Safford Epps (Shane Epps) and Billy Safford (Tracey Safford); her grandchildren, Zachary Epps, Cortney Epps Smith (Zach Smith), Sydney Epps Huffman (Dalton Huffman), Hunter Vines and Daryl-Hannah Vines; and her siblings, Davey Davis (Renee), Libby Walker (Larry) and Bobby Davis (Tena). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Caldwell Hospice at 902 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
