He is survived by: his parent Reba Walker Austin of Granite Falls; his wife Marche Starnes Austin; his children, Ryan Austin of Claremont, Joshua Hodges (Trista) of Granite Falls, Joseph Hodges (Carrie) of Granite Falls, Justin Austin of Granite Falls and Jessica Kelley (Eric) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Chloe Lowrance, Dalton Lowrance, Alexis Jaynes, Hunter Drum, Jesse Braswell, Cameron Kelley, Lacie Hodges, Colton Hodges, Aubrea Hodges, Payton Hodges and Brayden Austin; and his nieces, Kimberly Austin and Nakesha Green-Bolick.
