He was predeceased by: his parent Preston E. Herman; and his wife Katheryn Johnson Herman. He is survived by: his parent Ethel Munday Herman; his children, Michelle Herman Morgan (Alton) of Granite Falls and Bobby D. Herman of Granite Falls; his sister Sadie Townsend (Frank) of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Preston Morgan of Granite Falls, Hunter Morgan of Granite Falls and Ella Morgan of Granite Falls. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
