He was predeceased by: his son Chris Robinson; and his siblings, Kenneth Lee Hicks, William Calvin Hicks and Rita Scarberry. He is survived by: his wife Judy Stillwell Hicks; his daughters, Tina Chandler (Chris) of Lenoir and Carol Robinson of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Bethany Butler (Elijah), Kimberly White, Emily White, Meagan Chandler, Ashley Ellison, Jonathan Buchanan, Kristian Vess and Brianna Vess; his siblings, James Hicks (Nina), Ted Hicks (Joyce), Roger Hicks (Sheila), Wanda Jones, Lisa Craig, Louise Welch (Harold) and Betty Ayres (Ben); and his close friends, Charles and Tammy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
