It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Smith of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Smith and Jonie Catherine Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul E. "Buck" Smith (Denise) of Lenoir and Diana Vick of Tega Cay; his daughters, Ashley Pennell (Matt) of Granite Falls and Emma Smith of Lenoir; his nephews, Dusty Smith, Dana Smith and Chris Greene; his granddaughters, Meredith Pennell and Zada Townsend; his pet Pippa; and his wife Diane.
Social distancing and masks are recommended for all in attendance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Guardians Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, of which Gary was a member.
