He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Keyes and Elizabeth Keyes; his former wife Vella "Louise" Keyes; his son Robert Malcolm Keyes Sr.; and his great grandchild Jennings Luke Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Lucia Keyes; his brother Mackie Keyes; his children, Marybeth Cardwell (Todd) and Clayton Keyes; his daughter-in-law Linda Keyes; his stepdaughters, Robin Roseman (Kenneth) and Patty Forbes (Joey); his grandchildren, Robert Malcolm Keyes Jr. (Jackie) and Kiaya Louise Cardwell-Church (William); his stepgranddaughters, Emily Forbes Schroeder (Nick), Madison Elizabeth Roseman and Riley Jo Forbes; and his great grandchildren, Kaden Malcolm Church, Makynleigh Rose Church, Finnley Rae Schroeder, Brenner John Schroeder, Robert Malcolm Keyes III and Canine Lacey.
