He was predeceased by: his parent Cecil Barger. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Berry; his son Luke (Leslie); his grandson Matthew; his brothers, Mack (Janice) of Hickory and Alan of Hudson; and his friends, Pat and Neil Piercy.

“Leaving this message to Gloria, Luke, Leslie, Matthew, Mack, and Alan in sympathy for their loss of Floyd “Bud” Barger. To everyone that knew him, he was Bud. I got to know Bud at Broyhill Furniture. I admired him and respected him throughout my career at Broyhill. I know Bud loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them on the lake.
