She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Randy Collins and Bertha Huffman Collins Duncan; her son Donald Jeffrey Spann; and her siblings, Fannie Yoder, Alice Lou Collins Watson, Earl Randy Collins, William Henry Collins, Lawrence Eugene Collins and Robert Dale Collins.
She is survived by: her son Mark Allen Spann (Renee Shehan) of Connelly Springs; her sister Barbara Collins Brown (Cliff) of Pamplico, SC; her granddaughter Janet Opal Spann of Valdese; and her great grandchildren, Anthony Lee Taylor, Kristian Robert Ramon Spann and Frankie La'kendya Lynn Hamilton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
