With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Wayne Sipes Sr. of Granite Falls, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Baynie Clifford Sipes and Maxine Kizer Sipes Hajduk; his stepfather Frank Phillip Hajduk; and his son Edward Wayne Sipes, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Reece Sipes; his son Steven William Sipes (Angela); his stepdaughter Kristin J. McCarraher (Cody); his grandchildren, Christopher Sipes, Rebecca Sipes, Andrew Sipes, Alexander Sipes, Spencer Sipes and Reece McCarraher; and his great grandchildren, James Lee and Edward Lee.
