Doug McDonald Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug McDonald of Granite Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Rev. Bennie McDonald; his grandson Timothy Jordan Wingler; and his siblings, Kathy Eller and Bennie McDonald Jr. (Those). He is survived by: his parent Jessie Lynwood Brooks; his children, April Wingler (Andy Hines) and Tobey McDonald; his brother Edward Ross McDonald; his grandchildren, Courtney Smith, Dylan Wingler, Dillon "Delaney" Turner and Kobe McDonald; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Sophie, Luke, Kaylee and Connor; and his pet Sammy.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Caldwell County Humane Society at 829 Fairview Dr. SW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
