With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorris Annas Wright (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on March 15, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Annas and Mae Elrod Annas; her siblings, Boyd Annas and Wanda Hefner; and her great grandchild Joseph Haynes.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Clayton Wright; her children, Barbara Cole (Mike) of Hickory, Brenda Freeman (Bob) of Simpsonville, S. C, Betty Holder (Chris) of Granite Falls and David Lee Wright of Gamewell; her sisters, Dorothy Setzer of Catawba and Clara O'Riley of Hudson; her grandchildren, Jeremy Annas, Bobby Moore, Maria Moore, Savannah Clark (Chase), Hunter Wright, Mason Wright, Dalton Holder, Adam Cole (Wendy) and Michael Cole (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Charlotte Clark, Clay Clark, Brittany Cole and Brandon Cole; and her parents-in-law, Aileen Gilstrap (David) of Greenville, SC, Nell Browning of Morganton, Odell Wright (Barbara) of Morganton, Marlin Wright Taylorsville (Robin), Beryl Wright of Crossnore, Sharon Stokes of Greenville, SC and Doris Annas Wright. She is also survived by three great great-grandchildren.
