He is survived by: his sister Alzena Barrett (Dwayne) of Lenoir; his nieces and nephews, Katie Barrett, Amber Wagenor (Ronnie), Amie Sanders, Lanie Sanders, David Sanders and Dawson Barrett; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gracelyn Pennell, Addison Wood, Kaylee Wood, Cameron Pennell, Austin Wood and Axton Sanders; and his close friend Samantha Minton (Sam).
