He is survived by: his son Trucking; his wife Regina Triplett Cannon; his children, Donald Cannon Jr., Leslie Inscore, Jeffery Cannon, Natalie Presnell (Brooks) and Nicholas Bolick (Lakin McKinney); his sister LaVerne Adkins (Erik); and his nephew Mike Denton.
