We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, at the age of 61, Dennis Lee Akers (Granite Falls, North Carolina), born in Raleigh, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Jack Lee Akers and Esther Israel Akers; his wife Debbie Lyons Akers (NC); his daughter Misty Akers (NC); his grandchildren, Brayden Akers (NC), Colson Delozier (NC), Camryn, Aubrey Lyons (WV), Zachary Akers (SC), Gregory Lyons (WV), Karen Martin (SC) and Connie Highlander (NC); and his parents-in-law, Larry, Delna Lyons (WV) and Jeff Lyons (KS). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
