It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Timothy Young of Granite Falls, North Carolina, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Robert C. Young and Barbara L. Curtis Young; his wife Patricia Little Young; his children, Eric Clayton Young (Jonathan MacBride) of Edinburgh, Scotland and Lianna Marie Young of Granite Falls; his grandsons, Elijah Curtis-Tyler Hice and Liam Michael-Donald Hice; and his siblings, Michael Young (Brenda) of Virginia, Patricia Hansen (Steven) of Virginia and Marshall Young (Nell) of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
