He is survived by: his parents, Carl Dewey and Sammie Bumgarner Dewey; his son David Scott Dewey of Granite Falls; his grandsons, Peyton Dewey of Granite Falls and Kameron Dewey of Colletsville; and his siblings, Carl Dewey Jr. (Connie) of Hudson, Tim Dewey of Longs, SC and Carleitha Earls (Rick) of Granite Falls.
