He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sr. Bryant and Dessie Dula Bryant; and his siblings, Willard, Walter, Shea Bryant, Juanita Kirby, Opal Sharpe, Geneva and Linda Bryant.

He is survived by: his children, Daniel Bryant of Granite Falls and Dessie Ann Bryant McKinney of Hildebran; and his brother Johnny Bryant of Icard. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
