Darrell Sanders Obituary

Darrell Sanders, age 66, of Granite Falls, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020, in Virginia. He was born April 17, 1954, son of the late Grady and Catherine Burks Sanders. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, David Sanders and Carroll Sanders; one sister, Sue Butts; grandparents, Edmond and Ida Sanders.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara "Bobbie" of the home; three sons, Edmond Sanders (Renee), Kenny Sanders and Rocky Sanders; one daughter, Carolyn Sanders; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gene Sanders, Sandy Sanders and Eugene McDonald; three sisters, Lisa Keever, Tammy Padgett and Rebecca Sanders.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28, 2020, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Northside Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Lance Main & Rev. Howard Michaels officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
