He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Jefferson and Edna Pauline Blackburn Trivette; his wife Mary Nancy Willix Trivette; his daughters, Angela Michelle Stidham and Teresa Trivette; and his siblings, Carolyn Church and Randy Lee Trivette.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Trivette of Granite Falls and Darrell Dane Trivette, Jr. of Chadbourn; his granddaughter Ashley King of Morganton; his great grandchild Isabella King of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Courtney McNair of Granite Falls, Timothy Honeycutt of Granite Falls, Tyler Trivette of Granite Falls, Brittany Alexander of Granite Falls and Chelsea Trivette of Rutherford County; his great grandchildren, Declan Trivette, Zeta Stephens, Jacob Alexander and Kenslee Hargett; and his siblings, Rita Payne, Angela Porter, Sherry Bumgarner, Tammy Trivette, Tina Treadaway, Ricky Trivette and Chris Trivette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
