It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Everette Baker of Granite Falls, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Baker and Ethel Davis Baker Earp; his wife Patricia; his brother Tony Earl Baker; and his granddaughter Caitlin Renay Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Carmen Baker Jenkins (Keith) of Lincolnton and Jeff Baker of Granite Falls; his grandsons, Chandler Jenkins (Kayla), Landon Jenkins, Zachary Baker (Katie) and Conner Baker; his great grandchild Elliott Baker; his siblings, Larry Baker (Mary) of Connelly Springs, Ricky Baker (Barbara) of Granite Falls, Linda Piercy (Jerry) of Granite Falls, Regina Reece (Gary) of Taylorsville, Anita Legg (Pete) of Granite Falls and Cindy; and his brother-in-law Terry Collins of Iron Station. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
