He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Smith Lalani of Burnsville, MN and Sherry C. Smith; his siblings, Alma Bowman of Hickory and William T. Smith; his grandchildren, Sabrina Zarling, Cory, Zasada, Samantha Lalani and Sydnee Hein; and his nieces, Pat Fields of Connelly Springs, Lori Houston of Newton, Bonita Hefner of Hickory, Alvenia Beck of Myrtle Beach, SC and Nancy McCrary of Hudson.
