We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2022, at the age of 76, Carolyn Virginia Icenhour Melton (Granite Falls, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Ransom Icenhour and Virginia Harrison Icenhour; her husband Roger Eugene Melton; and her siblings, Joe Icenhour, Larry Icenhour, Ruth Ann Greene and Irene Laws.

She is survived by: her sons, Kirk Melton (Judith) of Hudson, NC and Kevin Melton (Shannon) of Boone, NC; her grandchildren, Kyle Melton of Baton Rouge, LA, Jerrod Melton (Kenny) of Lenoir, NC, Jacob Melton, Troy Melton of Uncasville, CT, Alle Trivette (late Benjamin) of Boone, NC and Abbe Workman of Boone, NC; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Veronica, Steele, Juliana, Samuel, Jaxon, Noah, Leigha and Emilee; and her siblings, Nancy Adams, Jayne McCall, Sharon McCreary and Paul Icenhour (Karen). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished lifetime friends.
