It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Merritt Miller (Granite Falls, North Carolina), born in Englewood, New Jersey, who passed away on August 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband C. O. Miller Jr.; her parents, Walter Davis Merritt and Byrd Merritt; her children, Andrea, Ali Miller, Jeannie Clark (Deward), Dee, Casey Clark (Alexa), Mike Miller (Karen), Hannah Foster (Ryan), Lily Mendenhall (Scott) and Will Miller; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Rhett, Winston Foster and Wiseman Mendenhall; and her siblings, Barbara Thornton of Tulsa, OK and Buzz Merritt of Wichita, KS.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Carolyn Miller Youth Fund and sent to PO Box 72, Hickory 28603-0072.
