It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Joyce Jordan (Granite Falls, North Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Charles Getzman and Lillie Aldridge Getzman; her former husband Walter Hugh Martin; her son Paul McAnally Martin; her brother Edward Goetzman; and her husband James Jackson Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Martin (Sue) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Rebecca Tyndall (Chuck Tyndall) of Indian Trail, NC, Nancy Smith (Bob) of Granite Falls, NC and Scott Martin of Millersburg, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Amy Croley (Mike), Hannah Welch (Brandon), Jacob Tyndall (Nicole), Addison Tyndall, Madeline Smith and Lilliana Martin; and her great grandchild Joshua Welch.
