He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter John King, Jr. and Dorothy Langdon King; his parents-in-law, Blaine and Roberta Baxter; and his pets, Kendall, Kelsey, Josey, Ernie, Murphy Brown, Milo, Ralph, Snoopy and Annie.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his pet Arlo; his siblings, Eileen Evans (Bob), Catherine McIlvaine, Dr. Rebecca King (Roy Piscitello), Carolyn Carroll (Arnie), Kevin King (Marina Mooney) and Julia Lopez (Mike); and his nieces and nephews, Robert Evans (Janice Huang), Christine Rosinski (Bobby), Dr. Joseph Piscitello (Amy), Caroline Habliston (Chazzo), Sallie Piscitello, Michael Lopez (Chanel) and Dr. Johnathan Lopez.
