He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ray Phillips and Gladys Ruth Wilcox Phillips; and his brothers, Johnny Edward Phillips and Steve Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Terry Hartley Phillips; his stepson Derrick Love of Granite Falls; and his siblings, Larry D. Phillips of Granite Falls, Michael L. Phillips of Lenoir and Vickie Crump (Greg) of Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and his precious dog.
