He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Blanton Buchanan; his children, Allen (Traci) of Longview and Tamra Buchanan of Granite Falls; his siblings, June Lowman, Wade Buchanan and Richard Smith; his grandchildren, Ashley O'Brien, Angela LeFevers, Adam Buchanan and Alex Buchanan; his stepgrandchildren, Aaron Casteel and Abby Guevara; his grandsons, Aaron Casteel, Tommy Blanton, James Morrison and Dusty Isaac; and his great grandchildren, Abel, Weston and Asa Dean. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
