She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harden Van Poe and Myrtie Files Poe; her former spouse Bennie Eugene Jones; her husband William Spahr (Bill); and her daughter Janice Wetzel (Gary). She was also cherished by two stepchildren, four grandsons, and one great grandson.
