He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Edward Gosnell Sr. and Jessie Mae Franklin Gosnell; his wife Janice McPeters Gosnell; and his sister Della Edens. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey B. Gosnell (Pamela) of Rock Hill, S. C. and Jonathan Edward Gosnell (Ann) of Granite Falls; his stepson Gerald McPeters of Old Fort, NC; his grandson Ryder Knox Gosnell of South Carolina; and his sisters, Connie Whitlow (Whitty) of Conover, N. C. and Brenda Jones Brittan (Garland) of Rhodhiss, NC.
