He is survived by: his wife Gail Johnson; his children, Timothy Carroll Johnson (Tracy) of Winston-Salem, NC and Deidria Johnson Elliott (Dana) of Granite Falls, NC; his grandsons, Andy Johnson of Winston-Salem, NC, Brendan Boaz of Charlotte, NC, Brett Boaz of Raleigh, NC, Luke Elliott of Granite Falls, NC and Sam Elliott of Granite Falls, NC; and his sister Barbara Eckard of Hildebran, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
