He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Barnett and Rittie Peterson Barnett; his wife Sandra Ernestine Shuping Barnett; his son Marvin Dale Barnett; and his siblings, Cratus, Charlotte and Maxine.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Smith (Bob), Ronnie Barnett (Theresa), Keith Barnett (Chanda), Rosemary Hall (Kenny), Lydia Wallace (Kevin) and Ernest Matinat (Deanna). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grand-children, six brothers, and three sisters.
